NEW YEAR'S HONOUR FOR FARAH PALMER
Former World Cup winning Black Fern Professor Farah Palmer has been named a Dame for services to rugby in the New Year honours. Professor Dame Farah Palmer plans to devote energy in 2023 to lifting the status of Māori All Blacks rugby.

After dedicating more than 20 years of her life with Massey University women's rugby legend Farah Palmer has become the 15th Māori academic to have been appointed to a professorship by Massey University.
